A Little About Us

At Anthony’s School we believe every child can and will learn. We believe that core subjects are important, but we also believe that not all a student needs to learn while at school. We will teach the whole child that means socially, academically, and emotionally. We have no set time frame on how fast your student is learning, your student will set the pace not a pacing guide. No student will be compared to another student.

We are a women founded private school in Baldwin County. We are working very hard to get our federal non- profit statue. Our promise is that no student that walks through our doors will fall through the cracks.

What We Offer

English Language Arts

We will work hard to get your student reading and writing. It may not look like the traditional reading and writing. It will be communication and understand for them and will change their lives.

Math

Math will be at each student’s skills level, and we will make sure that all basic skills are mastered before moving a student to the higher levels of math.

Science/ Social Studies

Science and social will be on A and B weeks. Week A will have 3 days of science and 2 days of social studies. Week B will have 3 days of social studies and 2 of science. Both of these classes will be used to have more practice of the skills they are needing for English and math.

Specials

We will have a different special each day of the week. This will help our students to work on gross motor skills and fine motor skills. These specials will range from music to social emotional skills that all students need to have.

LifeSkills Labs

This is the most exciting part of Anthony’s School is our lab rooms. We are working with the design of the building to have a small model apt with a kitchen, laundry area and bedroom and living room. So, students will be able to practice LifeSkills in real time.

Physical Fitness

The students at Anthony’s School will get physical exercise every day. Someday the students will be able to go outside however weather permitting. We know that some students have limited mobility, but they need the fresh air and sunlight everyday they can.
